Functions include well-formedness checking, DTD- and XML Schema-based validation, validation of XInclude and XPointer in XML documents, XML transformations via XSLT 1.0, schema-aware XML transformations via XSLT 2.0, XML queries and transformations via XQuery, and more. It is also the first and only XSLT and XQuery processor to support the ISO Office Open XML (OOXML) standard - the new industry standard adopted by Microsoft as the default format for Office 2007 documents.
